Honiara Hotel: A Timeless Treasure Found by Chance

Fun fact: Honiara Hotel is one of the first hotels built in Solomon Islands. This gem of a land on which Honiara Hotel was built was discovered by Mr Wing Chan and his wife Nin Chan in 1968, as they were going for a stroll. Seeing the hills and the two natural springs that divide them, the founders thought the space had great feng shui (風水) and decided to build a hotel. This entrance stands just outside where the first section of the hotel was built, 54 years ago.
